Located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur city, surrounded by the serene and scenic Lake Gardens, the KL Bird Park was truly amazing. It is well known as "Free-flight Walk-in Aviary" and the place was so huge that we couldn't finish the tour. Still, we had the chance to look up close at lots of birds and also the strutting peacocks and peahens ... more peahens than peacocks, though.
In this photo, the kids and grown-ups were fascinated by the quiet and lonesome bird (sorry, my knowledge of the bird species is rather minuscule) and my son was offering it some food. This picture was taken during our visit to Kuala Lumpur on the 6th day of Hari Raya.
A note for those who plans to visit -bring lots of water and wear comfy shoes, the walk was a challenge.
